F5 has ongoing neutering projects in Malaysia. Neutering is the most humane way to control stray dog population. We all must do our part. They never asked to be born on the streets. A broken system put them there and we (humans) must fix this while showing care and compassion towards their lives.
MFIN PROJECT
SPAYS OF STRAYS- CLOSED FOR ENROLLMENT.
SPAYS OF SELECT STRAYS & LOW INCOME PET OWNERS- ONGOING
Free Neutering of female stray dogs cared for by Independant Rescuers in Ipoh and those pets of low-income pet owners. This includes one night boarding and 1 time flea and tick prevention treatment. APPLICATIONS CLOSED DUE TO OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF RESCUERS ENROLLED.
We launched this project in May 2023
Stray Project has spayed 499 strays
So far 25 low income pet owner dogs have been spayed. This section of project remains open along with working with a selected few rescuers.

WE ARE CURRENTLY NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM AS WE HAVE CLOSE TO 80 INDEPENDANT RESCUERS ENROLLED. WE WILL RESUME AS WE ARE ABLE TO SECURE MORE FUNDING AND SLOTS FOR SPAYING.

F5 - Talea -Targeted Area Long Term Spay Project
We are looking to start a CNVR-M Project ( Catch- Neuter- Vaccinate- ( Return/Rehome/Relocate) Manage -focusing on a smaller geographical area- (for example Bercham in Ipoh.) This will be a long term project ( years).
Project outline:
Population Surveys at start & every 6 months
Spay & Neuter of strays and low income pet owners
Vaccinate- Rabies & Core Vaccine
Microchip
Resident Education about Humane Population Management
Seek Council Co-operation only if possible

F5 Subsidized TVT Injections Offered to
Mercy Clinic Enrolled Rescuers- Ipoh Only
Criteria:
Rescuer must be enrolled in F5 Program
Dog must be spayed/neutered.
Open for males and female dogs
Strays or low-income pet owner dogs only
Cost: RM 30 per injection to be paid by rescuer ( amount subject to change if cost of drug rises).
