Kajang Council Forum, Pound Visit, Discussions

This is the first time a local council outside of Penang has approached a non-profit organization to discuss a holistic approach to stray dog population management. The council was generally supportive, and a fruitful discussion took place with key stakeholders.
F5 sees this as a significant opportunity to propose a robust TNVR-M (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release-Manage) pilot project to MPKJ, with the aim of signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
In parallel, F5 will continue engagement with MPKJ on their dog catching, holding, and euthanasia procedures, and provide assistance in improving their pound facilities.
