F5 has ongoing neutering projects in Malaysia. Neutering is the most humane way to control stray dog population. We all must do our part. They never asked to be born on the streets. A broken system put them there and we (humans) must fix this while showing care and compassion towards their lives.

MFIN PROJECT
SPAYS OF STRAYS- CLOSED FOR ENROLLMENT.
SPAYS OF SELECT STRAYS & LOW INCOME PET OWNERS- ONGOING
Free Neutering of female stray dogs cared for by Independant Rescuers in Ipoh and those pets of low-income pet owners. This includes one night boarding and 1 time flea and tick prevention treatment. APPLICATIONS CLOSED DUE TO OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF RESCUERS ENROLLED.
We launched this project in May 2023
Stray Project has spayed 772strays
So far 31 low income pet owner dogs have been spayed. This section of project remains open along with working with a selected few rescuers.

Free Neutering of female stray dogs cared for by Independant Rescuers in Petaling Jaya and Klang Valley and those pets of low-income pet owners. This includes 1 night boarding.
WE ARE CURRENTLY NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM AS WE HAVE CLOSE TO 80 INDEPENDANT RESCUERS ENROLLED. WE WILL RESUME AS WE ARE ABLE TO SECURE MORE FUNDING AND SLOTS FOR SPAYING.
We launched this project in August 2023.

Hulu Langat Stray Females Spay Project
This project launched on Nov 1, 2023.
This project is paused as of August 1,2024
** ongoing discussions with PATH regarding a more systematic population study model and reporting approach to this project.

F5 - Ulu Gombak Temple Project
We were asked by SAFM to assist in sterilization of 30 temple dogs, 7 of which are puppies. This is a joint project between F5 who will bear costs of sterilization & arrange transportation to and back, AKC who will bear cost of rabies & core vaccination and SAFM who will bear cost of 1 night boarding. These dogs will be managed well post spay.
Results from Survey March 19,2025: 31 dogs ( total 7 puppies) many on heat/pregnant dogs.
As of May 31,2025: 17 dogs have been sterilized

LAHAT SPAY PROJECT

F5 Subsidized TVT Injections Offered to
Mercy Clinic Enrolled Rescuers- Ipoh Only
Criteria:
Rescuer must be enrolled in F5 Program
Dog must be spayed/neutered.
Open for males and female dogs
Strays or low-income pet owner dogs only
Cost: RM 30 per injection to be paid by rescuer ( amount subject to change if cost of drug rises).

KLANG HIGHWAY PROJECT
SPONSORING 10 SLOTS PER
MONTH FOR AKC PROJECTS
We are actively sterilizing stray dogs in this area managed by a group of feeders. As of May 31,2025- 10 dogs have been sterilized
As of May 2025, F5 will support AKC by sponsoring the costs of neutering of 10 stray dogs
per month, for AKC related projects in the PJ area
As of Aug 31,2025: 12 AKC dogs sponsored
NEGERI SEMBILAN FACTORY PACK STRAY DOGS
In May 2025, F5 was approached by a feeder who feeds a pack of about 20 dogs with 10-17 left to be sterilized. This pack of free roaming dogs are located in an industrial area. So far, the factory owners are tolerant. The feeder required funds urgently to sterilize these dogs to keep their numbers manageable & hopefully prevent future complaints to the council.
This project started in the middle of June 2025

ARA DAMANSARA, ASIA JAYA,

For June 2025, F5 will be sterilizing stray packs in these areas who have designated feeders caring for them. AKC will kindly sponsor rabies & core vaccinations.
